Dear listeners of this radio wave transmission - as much as we explore outer space, it is our duty to explore the inner as well. Months ago, I began conversations with my good friend Stormy Waters about consciousness. He revealed to me many secrets (some of which I was partially aware of already) that fundamentally shook my conception of the world. We have been in contact ever since, trading information and theorizing. Stormy has such a deep understanding and memory for details that speaking to him is like peering into the well of Mimir.
A few weeks ago, he suggested we do a mega podcast answering several key questions about the nature of consciousness. I obliged, and this is the result. Prepare to have your most essential assumptions about the world thrashed and then gently put aside. This three-part series will explore this question from several different angles. Stay tuned for more soon!
In this first episode of three, we attempt to answer:
What is Consciousness? (0:00:00)
We talk CIA Remote Viewing experiments in detail, methods and results of SRI research. How remote viewing works, what it implies for consciousness, and what can go wrong. Then we talk quantum random number generator experiments and how this relates to will and meaning. This segment gives a good understanding of the basic paradigm that the real experimental data points towards.
What did the ancients know about consciousness? (01:28:00)
Here we discuss the 7 Hermetic Principles. These 6000 year old texts reveal that the ancient Greco-Egyptians knew more about consciousness than we think. We make the connection between these ideas and our modern understanding of physics and also discuss how modern scientists like Newton received their knowledge.
Many sources are mentioned in the discussion, so the links to sources are provided below for you to inspect yourself. Don’t just take Stormy's word for it!
Here is a folder with many PDFs from the CIA directly. I may be adding more documents here as I find them (or you can also suggest them yourself).
Dean Radin’s library is also an excellent repository of the research done on psi phenomena.
